THE TASK

The University of Queensland, one of Australia’s leading universities, was re-thinking how it presented itself to all its audiences in Australia and overseas. The challenge was to reposition the brand as a leading contemporary university while respecting its strong heritage and acknowledging the changing needs of students.

The University of Queensland, one of Australia’s leading universities, was re-thinking how it presented itself to all its audiences in Australia and overseas. The challenge was to reposition the brand as a leading contemporary university while respecting its strong heritage and acknowledging the changing needs of students.

THE SOLUTION

The crest remains unchanged. We refreshed and added to the colour palette and created a new typography and imagery style. Central to the new look and feel is an iconic, recognisable UQ device. It can be serious or playful. It brings the brand identity to life.
