The task
PPB had outgrown of its roots as an insolvency firm. It had become a professional advisory firm offering strategic advice on complex turnarounds and capital re-structuring, forensic investigations and insolvency. They were changing their name to PPB Advisory to signal that change to the market and their brand identity and marketing communications had a major role to play in repositioning the firm. -
The insight
Everything they do demands breakthrough thinking, in terms of how they approach a client’s needs and what they deliver. It’s what helps their clients literally break through the barriers that may be hindering their success. And that idea must be at the heart of their brand identity, as much as it drives everything that they do – in client service, marketing, online, internal communications. -
The solution
We created a new brand identity that expresses their break through thinking. The logo represents the energy and momentum within the firm and the open perspective they bring to every client challenge. The identity was launched to the market in December 2010. And was widely acknowledged by clients as signaling a major shift in the profile of the firm. The launch was accompanied by an intense process of internal briefings and workshops where all staff were engaged in bringing the new brand to life.
