Gold for Magnum Ice Cream, Qantas and Engagement Institute and two personal accolades led to a weighty haul of 12 awards at Transform ANZ 2025.
It’s always nice to make work you’re proud of. Send it out into the world. Happy clients. Job done. But winning something? Now that hits different. It means by some objective measure you’re doing things right. And doing right by your clients.
Each Transform Award is a big slab of metal adorned with a shimmering butterfly, representing transformation. That’s what Transform is about – recognising achievement in rebranding and brand development.
Because as much as branding is about creating something new, it’s also about making something new again. And that takes a certain kind of person, working with the best kind of clients.
Two of our superstar Principals team were individually recognised at Transform this year, winning two out of the three Special Recognition categories.
Rachel Terkelsen won Creative Director of the year, in deserving recognition of her role as the steady force behind some of Principals’ best work. And a person of high integrity known for her care and clarity.
Senior Account Manager Veronica Brzozowska won Young Contender of the year. With her initiative, and a rare mix of composure and spark, she’s quickly become the trusted lead on several of our key accounts.
Our consumer brands team unwrapped cold, hard gold for The Magnum Ice Cream Company for Best use of Packaging. XXVI safely landed gold for Qantas, for Best Internal Communications During a Brand Development Project. And our work for Engagement Institute also engaged the judges, winning our third gold for Best Localisation of an International Brand.
What we’ve found particularly satisfying is that every part of our business was represented in the wins. XXVI proved the value of a character-driven voice for Cover-More, winning silver for Best Use of Copy Style or Tone of Voice. The employer brand team picked up silver for Angle Auto Finance, for Best Employer Brand. And our design team were the creative force behind Australian Red Cross Lifeblood winning silver for Best Use of a Visual Property.
Australian Red Cross Lifeblood also won bronze for best use of audio branding. NAB won bronze for Best Brand Development Project to Reflect a Change of Mission, Values or Positioning. CPA Australia picked up bronze for Best Brand Evolution (Corporate). And our consumer brands team collected a shiny bronze bookend with LaManna for Best Visual Identity from the Retail Sector.
We are so proud of our whole team, and as much as we can be without it feeling corny, we’re grateful for working with the clients that we do. Thanks for trusting us, and we can’t wait to guide you through change in 2026. And make you just a little bit nervous in the process.
