Following on from the Better Future Melbourne Design awards earlier this year, we’re honoured to have been awarded for our Sydney studio’s work in the Better Future Sydney Design Awards.
Our work on the revitalised Walsh Bay Arts Precinct identity received gold in the Graphic Design – Identity and Branding – Lifestyle category, where we captured the electric creative energy, vibrant community and living culture thriving at the edge of the city.
Building on an already-designed logo, we created a fresh, inspiring new brand identity for Insignia Financial, taking home gold in the Graphic Design – Identity and Branding – Finance category.
We took home another gold for Transgrid’s new brand identity in the Graphic Design – Identity and Branding – Corporate category. With a contemporary and flexible design system, we uncovered what was at the heart of the evolving organisation: resilience, innovation and progress.
And for our work on Kennedy’s bold new brand identity (complete with a luxurious twist), we were awarded silver in the Graphic Design – Identity and Branding – Lifestyle category.
Gold in the Good Design Awards Good for NAB Kaboom
Good design is shown in many different places. And so it was with NAB’s Project Kaboom, which in September won gold in the 2022 Good Design Awards.
Bringing together the full set of Principals’ skills including our service design studio AlphaLab and language studio XXVI, this collaboration with NAB and their partners reimagined the bank’s credit card terms and conditions. As it had license to fortify the bank’s commitment to a new era of customer service and blow up the old way, the project was codenamed ‘Kaboom’.
The Good Design Awards Jury commented: “A good challenge of an outdated paradigm that adds little value. An obvious but brave reframe through the lens of the customer financial literacy.”
Over the past few years, we’ve invested in service design as a way to help our clients evolve and stay relevant in their delivery of value to customers. Under Dan’s leadership, we’re incredibly proud of this affirmation of the world-class quality of this capability at Principals.
Congratulations to the team at NAB for bravely encouraging us to deliver positive change.
